John grew up in a family that valued hard work, honesty, and service. After a career spanning law enforcement support, corporate leadership,
and local government — and being twice elected to a school board — he and his family chose to call Halfmoon home. Now, he’s ready to put his
experience and dedication to work as your next Town Board Member, helping Halfmoon continue to thrive for generations to come.
WHY I’M RUNNING
Halfmoon is a great place to live, but after
decades of single-party rule, it’s time for a fresh perspective.
Halfmoon Democrats deserve a voice—a voice that understands their concerns and values. As a local Democrat, I’m committed to bringing balanced, accountable leadership to the Town Board.
Responsible growth should enhance, not overwhelm, our infrastructure. Unchecked development and congestion threaten the quality of life that makes Halfmoon special. I’m committed to managing growth in a way that prioritizes the needs of current residents.
I believe term limits (8 years) ensure fresh ideas and prevent stagnation. Town Board salaries are excessive, and raises should only match inflation. If elected, I’ll serve without a salary because public service should never be about personal gain.
Safety is a top priority—especially for pedestrians, cyclists, and traffic concerns. Halfmoon’s roadways must be safe for everyone, not just drivers.
